Belgrade has been undertaking a comprehensive strategic planning effort, called Clearly Belgrade, aimed at creating a unified vision across Transportation, Infrastructure, Land Use, and Parks & Recreation across the City of Belgrade.
During this planning process, the State of Montana signed the Land Use Planning Act, which established new procedures for comprehensive planning aiming to modernize and streamline the planning process and ensure better alignment with land use, zoning, and subdivision regulations.
Building upon the master planning effort and the Land Use planning Act, the new Land Use Plan will utilize data collected from each of these projects to inform the Land Use Plan for Belgrade's future.
